What you may not post on EuroActs.com, what happens if it is posted anyway, how we decide and how to object.
Last updated: 6 October 2026
What these rules cover
These rules apply to everything posted or sent on EuroActs.com: profiles, texts, photos, videos, reviews and messages through our forms. They form part of our Terms and conditions. By using the site you agree to them.
What is not allowed
- Illegal content, such as incitement to hatred or violence, discrimination, threats, terrorist content and any form of child sexual abuse.
- Infringing the rights of others: photos, videos, music or texts you have no permission for, someone else's brand or name, or images of people who do not consent to them.
- Deception: a fake profile, pretending to be someone else, made-up reviews, prices or awards, and prices or services you do not actually offer.
- Other people's personal data without their consent, such as an address, phone number or photo.
- Sexually explicit or violent images.
- Reviews of your own profile, of a competitor, or in exchange for payment or anything in return.
- Spam and abuse: advertising other services, sending messages in bulk or automatically, collecting data from the site with software (scraping), and bypassing or attacking our security.
- Services that break the law or for which you do not have the required licence or permission.
What we do if it happens anyway
We take a measure that fits the breach:
- we ask you to change the content;
- we hide part of it, for example a photo, a text or a review;
- we take a profile offline temporarily;
- for a serious or repeated breach we remove the profile or the account and may refuse a new sign-up.
Anyone who repeatedly posts manifestly illegal content is suspended for a reasonable period after a warning. Content that points to a criminal offence threatening someone's life or safety is reported to the police or another competent authority.
How we decide
We act on a report or on what we come across ourselves. A decision to hide or remove content is always taken by a person; we only use automatic filters against spam in forms. We weigh the law, these rules, the context and the rights of everyone involved, including freedom of expression.
If we restrict your content or your account, we tell you by email what we did, why, which rule or law the decision is based on, whether it followed a report, and how to object. We do not do this if we do not have your contact details, or if the law forbids it.
Objecting
Do you disagree with a decision, as the person who posted the content or as the person who reported it? Email contact@euroacts.com within six months of the decision, with “Objection” and the report number or the page address in the subject line. Your objection is reviewed again, where possible by a different member of our team, and you receive our decision with an explanation. You can also always go to the competent court in the Netherlands, or to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under the Digital Services Act.
Misuse of reports
Anyone who frequently submits reports that are manifestly unfounded receives a warning first. If it continues, we stop handling that person's reports for a reasonable period.
Reporting something
Seen something that breaks these rules? Use the Report link at the bottom of every profile or the form on our Online safety page. If it concerns copyright, please read our Copyright policy.
