Fairy-tale stilt theatre with handmade costumes, from Winterswijk
Fairy-tale stilt theatre with handmade costumes, from Winterswijk
Raaf Theatre is a stilt-walking act from Winterswijk that creates street theatre with colourful, self-designed costumes. Founder Walter Raben, stage name Walt Raaf, makes his costumes himself on the sewing machine, mainly from leftover materials and fabrics from second-hand shops. The acts are performed solo, as a duo or in a group formation, supported by live music or by portable battery-powered systems.
The performance has a style entirely of its own: improvised and with great calm, an impressive, almost fairy-tale atmosphere emerges. There is a choice of varied themed acts, from butterflies and light bearers to a dragon and a terracotta army, suitable for receptions, openings, parties and festivals, indoors and outdoors. Feel free to send a no-obligation booking request.

How do reviews work? Anyone who has experienced a performance or event with this provider can write a review. We check the e-mail address with a confirmation e-mail, but not whether a booking took place. A review is the writer's opinion: the provider cannot edit or delete it. We remove reviews that contain abuse, spam or falsehoods. Reviews do not determine the order of search results.
