Maria Preu

Singer-songwriter from São Paulo: gentle, original and intimate music, live

Maria Preu is a singer in São Paulo who brings to the stage a repertoire combining her own songs with reinterpretations of Brazilian and international classics. Self-taught, she sings and accompanies herself on guitar, with a sweet voice and an intimate register that she herself describes as música mansa, gentle music. From the show «DESACELERA — Para a Imersão do Seu Eu» to the concert «Música Mansa», she offers moments of listening and pause amid the fast pace of the big city.

She has already performed on city stages such as Fino da Bossa and the Teatro União Cultural, which makes her a natural choice for concerts in venues, cultural events, receptions and evenings where the music should envelop without imposing itself.
