Joe Traversa

Pianist & Singer – Solo entertainer Joe Traversa began his musical journey at the age of fourteen in Tortona, Italy. In the 1970s he founded his first bands, performing throughout Piedmont and in other regions of northern Italy. In the 1980s he took part in several singing competitions in Italy as a singer-songwriter, and in 1986 he had to turn down an important record deal for personal reasons! Over the following years he developed his career as a singer, pianist and entertainer, combining live music with a recognisable personal style and a very broad repertoire. His professional experience has taken him far beyond Italy's borders, with performances in prestigious venues in Moscow, in French Polynesia aboard the luxury cruise ship Paul Gauguin and in numerous locations across Europe and Asia. Joe also worked for a long time in China, performing in Zhengzhou, Xi'an and other major cities. His international experience includes performances aboard leading ocean cruise lines, including MSC, Costa and Paul Gauguin Cruises, as well as on European river cruise ships with Scenic, Viking and Excellence Cruises. Today Joe works as a professional pianist, singer and solo entertainer, performing in a variety of settings: • Luxury hotels & resorts • Hotel lounges & piano bars • High-end restaurants • Music bars & nightclubs • Private parties, weddings and ceremonies • Corporate events and special events • Cruise ships • Theatres and open-air events His repertoire ranges from elegant atmospheric music and lounge entertainment to more energetic live performances, suited to large events and music venues. One of the strengths of Joe's performances is his ability to keep the volume comfortable and controlled. This makes his music particularly suitable for lounges, restaurants and refined settings, where guests can enjoy live music while continuing to converse. With voice and piano, supported when necessary by professional backing tracks, Joe knows how to adapt his performance to different venues, audiences and occasions.
